I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Great Clips (Kansas City, MO) in Aug 2015
Interview
The interview process was very easy and not intimidating at all. I recommend really coming in strong with a portfolio in order to give yourself the position to negotiate your hourly. Otherwise, they will try to give you a very low base to work up from. Some salons do not give you a raise, and you will be stuck with the base pay. Other salons will try to give you a yearly raise. You are in the position of power because stylist are hard to find these days, and salons are doing everything they can to keep stylists.

Interview
It was super relaxed for the most part. They mostly asked questions about my background and previous customer experience jobs. How I handled certain situations, why or why not I'd be a good fit. Standard interview stuff,

They did an in person interview and a technical interview, it wasn't too hard of an interview process. The technical is intimidating at first but its not too bad and the manager was friendly.

Interview
I got an immediate call after applying online. A recruiter took me out for coffee and a quick chat. They offer a lot training so they focus more on advertising what your job could be like if you accept the job offer.
