The interview part lasted roughly 15 minutes, where I was asked about my experience with ergonomic assessments (RULA, REBA). For the next 40-45 min, I was brought out to the factory and learned how the machines worked. Also, I got to see what sort of projects I would have been working on. Overall the interview went well, although shorter than I thought.
The main issue I had was after the interview. The night after, I received an email from HR asking how the interview was. I responded saying that it went well but that the morning after the interview, I received an offer for another internship and that I accepted their offer. She replied very defensively, saying that she was preparing an offer for me and excuses as to why she couldn't respond sooner. I responded by saying I was sorry but I did not want to miss the other opportunity. She did not respond very professionally.
I do not appreciate how HR reacted and how she made me feel bad for declining. Made me rethink that if the other company didn't offer me a job, would I have taken this one instead? I still don't know.
