They scheduled and rescheduled the interview a couple times until I effectively stated I couldn't keep doing this due to other personal commitments. The apparent front entrance of the building turned out to be employees only, so I was diverted a back entrance. I rang the doorbell at the back entrance and was asked what or who I needed from a couple people who peeked out from the loading dock! I apparently caught them off guard by being on time. I interviewed with 2.5 people (one was basically non-participatory). The C-level interviewers could interview pretty well and were friendly, but the person the position would report to was silent and did not participate in much of the conversation-even about general scientific platforms. The lead interviewer/CEO was probing for ideas his company seemed to have a lack of expertise in, so I felt like I was being interviewed for ideas and possible future lines they could capitalize on based on my expertise and contacts within the industry. I did not get a look at the lab the position would be working in (which is suspect and indicates it may be a mess). Their final touch was a rejection letter with (literally) "insert company name" and "insert applicant name" still within the templated letter.
