While our interview process is involved, it is a mutual process between our candidates and GreatAmerica Financial Services, Inc. We appreciate that time is precious and that it is an investment from our candidate’s perspective; one which we truly hope is felt to be a worthy investment. We take the time to really get to know our candidates so that we can ensure the best possible fit between candidate, role, and GreatAmerica. Overall, we feel this investment of time and involvement is a benefit to our candidates as much as it is for us. We endeavor to ensure that our new employees to come into the organization, on day one, with a clear idea of the roles they will be performing and the sense of the culture and environment they will be immersed in.
In regards to the personality assessment mentioned: we request each of our applicants to complete a 5-10 minute survey prior to being considered for our opportunities. When invited to participate in our candidate assessment process, the first step does include a 20 minute timed aptitude exercise.
We are disappointed to hear that you did not receive follow-up communication after your interview. We know, that when interviewing for a new opportunity, waiting can be the hardest part and we are diligent about communicating timelines with our candidates so they know exactly what to expect and when. Unfortunately, there are times when technology fails or we as humans make an error. We would appreciate the opportunity to address this with you and make things right, to the best of our abilities.
