The process had 4 different stages. Normal, you might say. Sure. Here's the thing: they clearly had no idea what their actual timeline was, would say they'd get back within a week and would wait 2 weeks or so to make a decision on the next round. Then we get to the final round. Each interview was fine with very typical and expected questions. The final interview was at a local event they held, and while it was slightly awkward, I appreciated them wanting their team to meet me. What I did not appreciate was not hearing back from them for 1.5 months on a decision. I get not hearing back when you apply, even after the first round. To not get the courtesy of a decision until 6 weeks later, with simply a "thank you for applying" message is highly unprofessional, and frankly laughable.
