I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Greenberg Traurig (Sacramento, CA) in Dec 2023
Interview
The interview process is ever so slow moving. The entire firm is disorganized and unable to communicate well with interviewees. This particular firm has reached to me countless times and then often cancels or reschedules then reaches back out months later. I have now rejected to even be considered when recruiters re-contact me. Honestly, it’s utterly disrespectful and improper for the size of the firm and I cannot imagine what their day-to-day practices are like if they cannot even be courteous in the interviewing process.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Greenberg Traurig in Apr 2018
Interview
Process took about 4 weeks. I had a 25-minute phone interview. I had an in-person interview about 1 week later and due to the background check process it took about 3 weeks. The entire process from interview to start date was about 4 weeks.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Greenberg Traurig (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
Unlike many of the large firms, they did not require a video interview or extensive skills testing prior to an in-person interview (with HR only). Very nice people and a really professional environment. This initial interview was pretty informal. They asked general questions about experience, skills and your interest in the firm. I did attempt to follow up about the application process about a week after my interview and never heard back, but that is not terribly unusual and I did not feel heavily invested in my chances given the informality of my interactions with them. It seems like a nice place to work, there seem to be a lot of long-term employees, at least in this office.
