I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Greenhouse Fabrics (Winston-Salem, NC) in July 2020
Interview
So these folks took a while to get back to me due to high application numbers. Heard back from them in the Fall after applying in the Spring. Went to the interview and I felt good about it but it was certainly not a warm workplace environment. They told me I would hear back from them in a week about potential next steps and they would be following up. I followed up myself and thanked them in advance for their consideration. Never got a response. Followed up once more and again no response. Really sad that potential applicants are expected to be timely and respond quickly and drop their schedules to make an interview in the middle of the work week and interview to not even be told whether or not they were going to be pursuing another candidate. Just seems like anymore that employers lack common courtesy. These are hard economic times and the least companies can do is let applicants know one way or the other what decision they have made.
