I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Greenhouse Software in Apr 2022
Interview
By far this was the most detailed, transparent, and seamless interview process I've ever gone through. From the first screening interview, they were clear on what the potential total compensation would be, the timeline they were working towards, and what to expect through the interview process. Screening, phone interview with CS team manager, take home assignment, and then final panel interview. At every step of the process, they were clear on when I should expect the next communication and if I moved forward, how I should prepare. In a lot of ways, I felt like it was the most difficult open book test. At every step they gave you the tools to be as successful as possible and it was up to you to put them to use thoroughly; there were no "gotcha" questions or assignments. On one hand you'd expect given the product and mission to "make hiring great" would have a stellar experience, but they truly delivered on it.

Interview
So this process is Intense but it makes sense as to why it is this way. They want to make sure you are a good fit and understand what you are getting into. Just be yourself and not give stale answers (try telling stories) and be about the customer.

3. Presentation on a project they give you
4. 3 hour panel Interview
