      Student Assistant Interview

      27 Feb 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bjerringbro
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Grundfos (Bjerringbro)

      Interview

I had a scheduled phone call for about 30 minutes, where I was asked more about myself. However, the interviewer was not a good listener as sometimes he was asking questions to which I already gave answers.( For example: What are your strengths? - I told all strengths and continued to also mention my weaknesses, and when I finished, he asked: " what are your weaknesses?". Nevertheless, at the end of the phone interview, I got invited for a face to face interview. During the real interview, I was asked the same questions as during phone one, nothing technical. They did not introduce much about the company or the job, and it felt like a one-way conversation. After the 30 minutes talk, I had to perform at 25 minutes Excel test and make a 5 minutes presentation. During the presentation, the main manager left the room while I was speaking, and came back 1 minute later. I was left to speak with his assistant, which is fine, however, it was not really nice to leave the room at that time.
