It was a first round interview with HRBP and Merchandise Planning Manager. It was a long interview which lasted 3 hours, however, the questions asked and hands-on test given were very professional. Along the interview, there were opportunities given to elaborate on your expertise and achievements. I was made to feel very comfortable when I didn’t manage to give the answers they were looking for. The vibes of the office feel positive as you can hear people laughing loudly and there were chit-chatting here and there. Overall, it was a good sharing session as the Merchandise Planning manager was very open to share her personal experience and knowledge.
I managed to get to a 2nd round interview with the Merchandising Director. He was a nice guy and once again, I was made to feel comfortable during the session. He spoke a lot about the opportunities that the department would have if there are more resources in manpower. He also mentioned that the working culture in the office is very open. It’s an open door policy with anyone you’ll be approaching. They also have no tolerance for people that are toxic to the work environment. Overall, I have a very pleasant experience with everyone I met throughout the phases of interview.
