One call for general profile fullfilment overview with up to 10 other devs and two gun.io employees and another one on one call for technical evaluation. Although I was applying to backend role, I was mostly asked about frontend stuff and very old projects of mine (5+ years old). Interviewer was clearly lacking experience on backend stuff. There were no questions that could really reveal whether I'm a good backend developer or not. After decline their suggestions were literally "brag more about your accomplishments" and so on. So they basically care more about how you present yourself rather than who yoy really are, so being humble and honest doesn't work! Likely a lot of devs who are too confident about themselves but doesn't know what SOLID or YAGNI are get through.
