After asking basic questions, there were in-depth queries about automation approach, deciding frameworks, assignments to automate real time scenario and few programming problems. Questions were raised related to manual testing, DB queries, API testing, fundamentals of agile process, etc.

Although a number of years ago, my interview at Guru.com still stands out as one of the most unprofessional in my career. A female manager met with me and read through my accomplishments in such a condescending manner, clearly because she had an issue being threatened by other woman. Now as a VP in my career, I feel it necessary to post this review as an example of what not to do to someone getting their feet wet. I can only hope that this individual was since fired and this is not the type of culture promoted at this place.
