I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gusto (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2014
Interview
Overall the process was very smooth. The team was very responsive in scheduling follow ups and I was able to meet a large portion of the company during the process. As much as I was being interviewed by them, I had ample opportunity to assess the company for what I was looking for as well.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gusto (San Francisco, CA) in July 2015
Interview
Three step interview process, not including conferencing with the professional referrals you provide. First step of the interviews was a phone call with Krysta, who did a great job representing ZenPayroll. After the call, I was provided with a take-home assignment that you must spend a significant amount of time on if you want to be considered for the final round. The third round of interviews was an on-site with 3 different individuals. Be yourself and do your best to get a feel for them as well.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gusto (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2015
Interview
Fairly straightforward process: phone screen, take-home assignment, and then in-person interview. Truly enjoyed the in-person interview where I met my future teammates, which sold me on eventually accepting the position. A very refreshing experience overall.
