Put it this way... For a mid level role, I had the 1st interview with the hr person/recruiter, then the hiring manager, then a series of 5 additional interviews with a different department to screen me to check my "fit" into their diverse workforce. For a lowish mid level role. Gees. They don't seem to value my time (or their own for that matter with such intensity for everyone) . Nice people but if they don't value my time now, what would it be like as an employee? Everyone seemed stressed. Friendly, but stressed.
While asking me questions, most of them were typing away. It was in some ways rude. Sure they were typing my answers, but they're not sensitive about making eye contact on the camera (virtual interview) so it all felt very impersonal and disinterested. Don't send folks through 7 interviews, talk them up like you really like them and then ghost them. That's what I endured interviewing for a job I really wanted. In most ways, I feel like I dodged a bullet not leaving my current job for this company.
