They just seat you and briefly talk about your availabilities and experience. They care most about availabilities and don't hire just weekend people (at least at my location). It varies on the managers at the certain chain, but mine were very chill and nice.

Are you okay with handling busy weekend nights or PM shifts?
It was nice. The lead server was nice and explained the roles. They are upfront about the work that you have to do. Management interviewed me right after the lead server.
Honestly not too bad. They just asked me about my experience and typical getting to know me questions. Seemed like they preferred people with serving experience, but didn't seem like it was a total dealbreaker.
