      Account Manager Interview

      2 Jan 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Sterling, IL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at HALO (Sterling, IL)

      Interview

From the outside, it seemed like Halo was posting ghost jobs and had no intention of filling them. I applied for several roles because I was excited about the company and the opportunities. I interviewed for a specific "open" role that aligned with my experience. I was told by the recruiter that she is not sure if it would be filled as described in the post and that she could not get clear answers from the hiring managers re: what they were actually hiring for this role or others. What?!? Very confusing.

      Account Manager Interview

      18 Oct 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Columbia, MO
      Declined offer
      Negative experience

      Application

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HALO (Columbia, MO)

      Interview

What a joke. First off clearly only hire women. I have high sales experience and I had profiles and reports to prove it. 30 day ordeal not worth it. Just a joke, you want the best? I came with a book of Business for entire southern half of Missouri.

      Account Manager Interview

      10 Jan 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Columbus, OH
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at HALO (Columbus, OH) in July 2017

      Interview

The interview was extremely disorganized. Two guys at the same time. They went through my resume and asked me about my previous positions, and my book of business at my company. The type of projects I have worked on.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Can you bring your clients/orders you have now over to Halo to fill? They are not really looking to hire Account Managers, they are looking for other people's book of business. Their job postings are nothing more than a fishing expedition, to see if they can steal other distributor's business.
