I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HCLTech in July 2025
Interview
The interview process was easy, but this company is absolutely pathetic when it comes to handling offers. I clearly mentioned my expectations during the process, and they confirmed the budget was available. Still, they kept delaying the release of the offer. Before that, they demanded all my documents, and once they had everything, they shamelessly rejected the offer saying “fitment issues.”
What’s worse? They conducted an HR interview just to push me into accepting an offer 25% lower than what I had asked. Then they had the audacity to say, “Once you complete your notice period, we’ll revise it to the original amount.” I said fine, but put it in writing so I can trust you. Guess what? They refused. Instead, they turned it around, saying “How can we trust you won’t join another company?” and then rejected me after all rounds were done.
This is a complete joke. Don’t waste your time interviewing here — their HR team is unprofessional, manipulative, and downright stupid.

The interview process is quite confusing and unstructured. It starts with two technical rounds, followed by an HR round. However, even after the HR discussion, there is an additional manager round that is highly technical. The manager round is particularly frustrating, as it is initially presented as a 15-minute call but ends up lasting around 45 minutes, with questions asked in a rushed manner. Additionally, the feedback timeline is very slow, with about 10 days between each round. Because of these delays and the unclear process
Technical Round 1: Java fundamentals, Map concepts, and basic Spring Boot questions.
Technical Round 2: Java coding problems and problem-solving discussion.
HR Round: Behavioral questions, communication evaluation, and discussion about experience, expectations, and company culture fit.
