I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HCSS (Sugar Land, TX) in May 2011
Interview
Interview process started with a timed, computerized test taken onsite that deals mainly with math oriented word questions. I was notified a few days later than I had passed the test and would be brought in for an interview. I was also emailed a set of 8 short essay questions that I was to answer and return via email prior to my first interview. These questions were not industry specific; they were more aimed at getting to know about me and some of my past accomplishments. I interviewed with a total of 5 people over two days, the last being the president of HCSS, Mike Rydin. Each interview took approximately 20-30 minutes, and the culture of HCSS was a dominant topic in each discussion. I was notified via a phone call a few days later that I had been extended a job offer, and this was followed up with an email that contained a proposed salary amount, which I accepted. The entire process took about 3 weeks.
