I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HDR (Pasadena, CA) in July 2015
Interview
I was reviewed by three of their current employees. The review took place in a conference room. It had a nice view. The interviewers talked a lot about the company. In fact, they did most the talking. It very different from all my other interviews. I guess it made this interview easier. They did a good job explaining the type of work they did and some of the benefits.
Easy process, 3 rounds of interview. First HR screening, then interview with supervisor, lastly HR interview to go over the job once more. All done online since I wasn't local. No relocation benefits. Asked about my experience, skills, work ethic, etc.

Interview
I had a really positive experience throughout HDR’s interview process. It moved quickly and was well-organized, which I appreciated. Everyone I spoke with was kind, thoughtful, and genuinely accommodating. Rather than trying to poke holes or find reasons not to hire me, I felt like the team was truly rooting for me and focused on getting to know me and how I could contribute to the role. It made the whole process feel collaborative and respectful — one of the best interview experiences I've had.
