I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at HP Inc. (New York, NY) in Sept 2017
Interview
A series of Skype interviews consists of three sessions first. Mostly system level design and object oriented programming questions but not hands on coding. During the last session, interviewer asked me questions about a function that seems like taken out from a real device. And asked me some questions about another piece code which was doing string manipulations using pointers.
Then on-site interviews have taken place. It was a positive experience in general but coding session was a one-question session. Interviewer asked me a question that needs to utilize a specific C++ STL data structure. I was already mentioned that I am not very familiar with STL and everybody told it is Ok. If I knew I wouldn't bother to travel couple of thousand kilometers at all.
