HR&Co. interview questions

This was the worst interview experience that I’ve ever had before in my life. I would give this company zero stars if I could do so. During the first interview round, I met with several members of the team that asked me scenario based questions. I was invited to the second round of interviews shortly after. The second interview was absolutely TERRIBLE. The owner of the company immediately started complaining about past employees who worked at the company for the first minutes of the call. According to her, HR&Co. did not meet these employees’ expectations since they were from a big company and “just looking for a job”. It was very unprofessional for her to start the call with this rant. It seemed like she prejudged applicants based on what type of company they worked for in the past. I felt very unwelcomed, since I work at a big company. She asked if I had any questions, but then told me to stop reading from my list of questions after only 2 minutes. She told me that I could only ask her questions without looking at my paper. I was very disinterested in the job, once this happened. I never had an interviewer tell me not to ask questions that I had already prepared beforehand. The company never followed up with me to let me know whether I got the position. I wouldn’t recommend interviewing with this company for any position posted by them. I saw too many RED FLAGS. The owner comes off as being unprofessional and rude. I’m shocked that companies are willing to work with her. I wouldn’t be surprised if this company has a toxic work environment also. The company has only been in business for about 5 years, but most of the people on the team have not been there for long. This tells me that the employee turnover is high due, probably due to poor leadership. Think twice before interviewing or even accepting any job offer from them. There are plenty of other companies out there that will truly respect you and your time.
