HSBC Associate Vice President interview questions

Was interviewed on resume, key skills, equity stock selection, current compensation structure, expected salary. The interview lasted for one hour. In the end I was told that I am hired subject to background checks, credit check etc. I was also told to submit 2 references which I prompty provided. I heard from the HR guy after 10 days with the offer.

The interview process was smooth and conversational. The interview was with the Vice President and Branch Head. I was asked about resume walk, about my past job roles and responsibilities. I was also asked about the current trends in the wealth management industry, how are the various economies doing and what is the correlation between the different economies. I was also asked about my fit to the role that I am applying to and my strengths and weaknesses.
