      19 Sept 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at HSBC in Sept 2016

      Interview

Applied through campus recruitment. One day process. There were four rounds: 1. Aptitude + Technical Online test 2. Coding 3. Technical Interview 4. HR Interview Aptitude round had 5 sections: passage (selecting the right words for fill in the blanks), Arithmetic Aptitude, Attention to Detail, C & Data Structures, Algorithms, Java passage was tricky, Arithmetic Aptitude and Attention to Detail were easily doable, C & Data Structures, Algorithms, Java were doable if you have practiced well. I was exempted from coding interview because I was among the top 6 in the first round. But I heard that the coding round was fairly easy. So 6 from the first round and and 6 from second round were shortlisted. For technical and HR. After clearing the technical interview, I was selected for HR along with one more guy.
