I applied in early Nov'22 for an Global Banking intern role in London and got AC invite in early Dec'22. AC consist of two parts, first part are 4 micro exercises and second part are 4 Zoom interviews. Micro exercises are more demanding than Job Sim and will be strictly marked for final result. Zoom interviewers are professionals across different products and sectors; each has 4-5 fixed questions to ask and record, they have a fixed guidelines to follow and will assess your answers dynamically. They emphasis on basic technical and thorough understanding across all products, sectors, and wider HSBC community. After each interview there are Q&A sessions, the overall experience was worth a while. Results and verbal feedback were given within a week.

Very nice very good people all very kind - wasn’t stressful . Focused on technicals, market awareness and a few brainteasers. Also received bond pricing questions even though was recruiting for m&a. 3 rounds 30 minutes each
