Been a few years ago but wasn't very happy about it. The screening involved a test project that was supposed to be max a day of work. After receiving the details, it was clear to me, as an experienced engineer that the project would take multiple days of work - before even speaking to a person. That's the moment I ended it.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Hacker Noon (New York, NY) in Nov 2022
Interview
The interview process was quick and included a number of test questions to show how much you know. It was generally a good challenge to work on and also a great interview process with the team.

Question 1
What skills do I have, What I can do at the company
The interview process was very laid back and instructive. I met with the CEO to discuss culture-fit and the vibe of the company, and them the VP of engineering for the technical side.
