I applied through university. I interviewed at Halliburton (Fort Lupton, CO) in Apr 2017
Interview
Met the recruiter at my university. Voiced my interest in the position and was scheduled for a phone interview a couple of weeks later. Was able to pass the phone interview and was invited to their Fort Lupton, CO location for a two day interview process. They show you around the facility, and actually out to a drilling site the second day. I was there with 10 others from the CO area. The last portion of the day involved them going over resumes and asking some questions about what we learned over the previous two days. I was offered a position in ND, but declined.

Question 1
Why do you think you would be a great fit for Halliburton?
There are three days campus recruitment process. Starting from written test in day 1, FGD in day 2, and, short interview in day 3. FGD was pretty casual, you'll be given 15 minutes to discuss a case, and depends on when your turn on presenting is, 1-2 hours to solidate the case outside while waiting for presentation turn. If you pass, you'll get into user interview the next day.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Halliburton in June 2025
Interview
After passing the admin screening, I attended the psychometric/aptitude test at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta. The test was conducted entirely online on our own devices; the venue had weak mobile signal and there was no option to take the test on paper, so a lot of time was lost just connecting and loading questions.
