I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hamleys (Glasgow, Scotland) in Mar 2019
Interview
Had to talk about a random subject they gave you for a minute, then sell a product in one minute. Then 1 to 1s if you were selected after this. They tell you to 'think outside the box' and be 'creative' I personally came up with really creative/weird answers and so did 2 other interviewees when we had to speak for 1 minute.
Yet when the time came to take people forward to 1 to 1s we were told to leave and they took forward the people with the boring and standard answers with little to no creativity. Was really off putting, giving something like they said and being told to go. Seems be creative and out of the box doesn't have the same meaning to them.

Interview
Applied online, got a phone call about two weeks later asking me to come in for a group interview. Had to do three exercises in the group interview. First was choose a toy and sell it for 1 minute. Next we were given a random topic to talk about for 1 minute. Lastly we worked together in a group and had to make up a story using some cards we were given. Then it was a few one to one questions which were quite easy.
