      Creative Designer Interview

      10 Mar 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Hanesbrands (New York, NY) in Apr 2016

      Interview

1st is a phone interview with HR. Typical corporate questions. The 2nd interview in their NY office was supposed to be with the Global Design Director but when I showed up-she sent someone from her staff because she "couldn't get out of a meeting." Talk about a terrible first impression on Hanes part. I was asked to come back and meet the original person (Global Design Director). The scheduling was terrible and completely inflexible. They would NEVER do early morning or after hours (5:30 or later). This is New York people. We all interview early mornings or after hours. Talk about making a candidate feel like you want them. Ultimately, the interview was fine. Not too hard.
