My interview was super easy. Bringing a printed out resume is a good idea too, she thanked me for it, said it made her job easier. I was hardly asked any questions, it was mostly a conversation. We talked about my career goals, passions and all that. Where I want to be in the future, not even with Harris Teeter, just about life goals. I'm an artist. I was pretty nervous during the interview, she said that was fine and not to worry, even the shyest person can be a cashier. She did ask me what my desired hourly rate was. I didn't really know what to say because this is my first job, so I just said standard. Not sure if I could've gotten more or not, but again I was really nervous. I make $8.50 an hour, I was hired on the spot. My resume just had stuff that I'd done in university, things like art conventions, or volunteer work, I was reaching a little, and that's fine. Even though I was nervous, I think the thing that helped me the most was just being polite and able to talk conversationally about whatever.
