I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Harris Teeter (Matthews, NC) in May 2011
Interview
The hiring process was fairly simple since I had some very good references who put in a good word. I basically met with the manager he asked me some questions about my comfort level concerning the position and my availability. I then went through over a week of paid training...some was one the computer for corporate and the other was more hands on. I was taught how to do all the icing techniques and learned all the regulations and health codes of Harris Teeter

Very intuitive, definitely a few channels (not more than 2) to go through before securing job; you meet your co-manager, your supervisor, they help you fill out more assessments in store and then will call you to set up your schedule and on boarding process depending on the job!
