I interviewed at Hayes Locums (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
Interview
Intense and long process but enjoyable! Took a tour of the building, then was interviewed by 2 different groups of people. Interview questions were fair and normal, nothing unexpected. They wanted to know if I had experience with sales related tasks like calling, and asked what would make me stand out compared to other consultants. Definitely come prepared and well dressed.

Question 1
What will make you stand out compared to other consultants?
What unique skills can you offer?
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Hayes Locums in June 2026
Interview
While Victoria was nice on the phone, I felt misled after what the job description was stating vs. what she was telling me. Pay is probably not going to exceed $65k your first year FYI despite what the listing says. Less of a leadership type role and more of a individual sales roles.

Question 1
Are you comfortable working fully in-person Mon-Fri 9am-6pm?
I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hayes Locums (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Mar 2026
Interview
I had a virtual interview with the managers and it was honestly one of the most uncomfortable interview experiences I have ever had. From the very beginning they did not seem welcoming at all. There were no smiles, barely any eye contact with the camera, and their tone felt very cold and uninterested. It made the whole interview feel awkward and made it really hard to relax or feel confident while answering questions. Instead of feeling like a normal professional conversation, it felt very one sided and harsh, like I was being judged in a very uncomfortable way.
At the end of the interview they told me that they would 100% reach out within 2 days. I appreciated the clear timeline so I waited, but it has now been 2 weeks with no response at all and no communication, which feels extremely unprofessional. I have been on many interviews before and I have never experienced anything like this. I also recently interviewed with a much larger and more successful company and they were completely the opposite, very warm and engaging which honestly made this experience stand out even more in a negative way.
