Had a 1 hour competency based interview. The questions were the usual sales type questions and the hr professional was pleasant. I was told I’d hear back within the week. After a few days I followed up - nothing. After giving up an hour of my time the least they could do would be to send a generic thanks but no thanks.
Hey there, I wanted to reach out and respond to your review, firstly to extend our apology that you had a negative experience, we totally understand why this turn of events resulted in you feeling this way. Secondly to explain that this is a rarity and sadly due to the pandemic the entire team was on furlough on various days of the week which resulted in us dropping the ball and not following up with you as we normally would to complete the communication of the interview process. I assure you we are very grateful for your interest in HeadBox and thankful for not only the hour of your time you gave up for the interview but the work you put into the prep too. Thank you for your feedback, wishing you all the very best from the HeadBox team.

Interview
Had a great initial chat with HR and have continuously expressed my interest in working for Headbox for over two years. It’s not often candidates are that excited about your company and show passion, the least they could do is acknowledge the efforts made. Unfortunately they never reply to applications or engage with professionals on LinkedIn. Very snobbish, not a place I would want to work for anymore. You’ve lost a good one.
