      Architect Interview

      9 Apr 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Addison, TX
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Headstorm (Addison, TX)

      Interview

The hiring process started with the HR manager reaching out to me. We scheduled a call to discuss my background and Headstorm and I was explained the lengthy interview process. The coder pad and various in person interviews, pretty thorough call which I appreciate. Made it through the coder pad part so went on site. Did tech/culture/executive interviews. The tech interview was pretty intense. After a few days I heard back from the hr manager letting me know what exactly I missed but they really appreciated me coming in and gave me praise too. Appreciated the candidness throughout the interview process. Overall good experience

      Architect Interview

      19 Feb 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Dallas, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Headstorm (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2020

      Interview

Applied for the position via Indeed and got an email back from the HR representative shortly afterwards. Did a 30 minute phone screen to make sure it was a good cultural fit. Got invited to a Coderpad interview, where I was asked to solve a conceptual problem using my choice of scripting language. I was told that I did well, and that the next steps of the interview would be an in-person interview and a lunch meeting. Responded to the HR representative twice over the next business week and never heard anything back. First time in my professional career that I got "ghosted" during an interview process.
