I applied online. I interviewed at HealthScribe (Phoenix, AZ) in June 2017
Interview
I applied for this position through Indeed.com. Approximately one week after the submission, I received an email to take a typing test online and submit the results via email. An interview was scheduled about 1.5 weeks after the typing test. The interview took place at a coffee shop and was scheduled for 30min. The interviewer was nice and made the interview session a pleasant experience. Behavioral and situational style interview questions were asked along with the requisite, "Tell me about yourself," which sadly I did not prepare for appropriately. One week after the interview, I received an email informing me that I was not chosen for the position. My advice: Prepare for an interview as a Medical Scribe in the same way that you would for more prestigious positions.
Very casual online interview. Asked basic questions regarding availability and duration of commitment to the position. Did not feel very professional to be honest, which can be a good or bad thing depending on you.
