I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Heatric (Poole, England) in Mar 2014
Interview
I got an interview invitation after within a day after I sent my CV through SOS recruitment agency.
I asked to the recruitment agency whether I could claim the expenses, apparently they did not bother to inform the interviewer that I am not living nearby Dorset.
I went for the interview with my own personal expenses ( to be exact: £125 for patrol, £50 for accommodation) and 6 hours driving both ways.
The interview was OK although I did not really sure about the vibe on the interview. Just different to the other interviews I had with bigger companies and a company that offered me a temp job in 2013.
The interview panel told me that they would let me know the result in a week.
There was no news after a week and I was waiting for the following weeks, still no news until this second I am writing this review.
I emailed the agency regarding the interview result in two weeks after the interview.
I missed the call from her and I tried to return the call the next day to the agency's mobile number that she used to left me a voice mail, no answer and I emailed her again to ask the result.
Surprisingly, NO NEWS or NOT EVEN A THANK YOU MESSAGE THAT I WENT FOR THE INTERVIEW from the agency !!! I believe that recruitment agency would get money by sending a candidate go to the interview although the candidate is not success.
This interview process was obviously wasting my time and money.
I am glad I do not get the job from the company or work temporarily under the agency since by this point I can see that they are unprofessional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No difficult questions at all.
Unexpected statements : The HR lady repeatedly saying to the interviewer 'She is not local' and 'She is not living in Dorset' even before the interview started.
That was putting me off for the whole interview.
