Interviewed for the FP&A Director position and had a very positive experience overall. The interview process was professional, well organized, and engaging from start to finish. Everyone I spoke with was thoughtful, personable, and clearly passionate about the organization’s mission and long-term goals.
The discussions were collaborative and focused on both technical expertise and strategic thinking, which made the conversations feel meaningful rather than transactional. I especially appreciated the opportunity to discuss financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and operational strategy in a way that felt substantive and respectful of my experience.
Although I ultimately did not move forward in the process, I came away with a very positive impression of the leadership team and overall culture. The team seemed supportive, intelligent, and mission-driven, and it genuinely felt like an organization where employees are valued and encouraged to contribute ideas.
I applied online. I interviewed at Hebrew Public (Staten Island, NY) in June 2024
Interview
Interview was strait forward. Had a Demo Lesson in the morning, followed by a interview with an Admin member of the school. Was able to tour the school and meet members of the school as well as some of the students.
This was a good school. Nice people. Very professional environment. Great education and motivated staff. highly recommend this school even though I didn’t end up working there I still think it is a nice place to work.
