I applied online. I interviewed at Hermes Microvision in Feb 2018
Interview
Phone interview, followed by an utterly disorganized in-person interview which turns mostly into skype interviews. Prospective manager started off with the phrase "Americans don't like our hours here" so if you are an American, you are clearly not welcome. Proceeded to follow this up with "how much overtime is acceptable before you quit?" for a salaried engineer position. Company is 90% Asian, and expect a foreign language to be spoken in front of you while they try to figure out how to run an in-person interview. 45 minute interview slots are given, but people do not show up on time, and only have maybe 10 minutes of questions prepared. A presentation was expected, but only 1 person showed up in person and 2 on the phone. Overall, very unwelcoming atmosphere if you do not fit their company demographics.
