I applied online. I interviewed at Hewlett Packard Enterprise | HPE (Austin, TX) in July 2023
Interview
The worst communication I ever faced. I have applied online, and a recruiter reached out and ask to meet for a screening call. I joined the teams on time and waited to be let into the meeting. After a few minutes, I emailed the recruiter and asked what happened. Later she answered that she waited for 10 minutes but no one showed. I explained that I was waiting to be permitted to join the meeting. We tried to reschedule. I provided my availability and didn't hear from her for a week. I follow-up my email and waited a few more days without any answer. A few days later she called, apologize, and said that she wants me to meet with the hiring manager (without any screening). I was contacted by a coordinator, asking for my availability. We scheduled a call with the hiring manager. I invested time in preparing for the interview. 15 minutes (!!) before the interview starts it was rescheduled without any notice. I reached the coordinator and she said that the hiring manager asked to delay all of his interviews for the day. Weird, but I didn't say a thing. A day before the new interview time, it was canceled. This time with a note that the hiring manager asked to pause the interview process for now (generally, not just for me). 3 days later, I got a rejection email, saying something like "Thank you for speaking with us, we enjoyed learning about you and your experience, but we decided to move on with other candidates for this position."

Interview
I recently interviewed for a position at HP, and unfortunately, my experience was not positive. The interview process was disorganized and lacked clear communication. I initially felt excited about the opportunity, but the interview itself was unstructured, with some interviewers seeming unprepared and not fully familiar with my resume.
The questions were vague and didn’t align well with the role I applied for. Additionally, there were long delays between interview stages, which led to a sense of uncertainty throughout the process. It felt like they weren't as transparent or responsive as I'd hoped, which made the entire experience frustrating.
While I understand that these things can happen, I left the interview feeling that the company’s internal processes could use some improvement, especially regarding communication and organization. Overall, my experience was disappointing and not what I expected from a well-established company like HP.
