I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HiViz LED Lighting (Hendersonville, NC) in Sept 2025
Interview
The interview process was very smooth. Everyone I spoke to was very kind and I felt the interviews went as well as they could have. I very much enjoyed meeting everyone and learning more about this incredible company and look forward to possibly applying for another position in the future.

Interview
Started off well. Then it came apart at the seams. Was told during the screening interview to stay in touch if anything changed on my end. Which I assumed meant to provide an update if I had an offer (or pending offer) from another company. When I did inform them that an offer was pending, I was told in a passive aggressive manner via email that the company was going to stay committed to the process because it's such an important role. So I was lied to. They didn't really care. Just meaningless banter. Nonetheless, my second interview wasn't even with the hiring manager. By the second interview, still didn't even get to speak to the hiring manager. So I had a call scheduled with another member of the leadership team, who was obviously not prepared for the interview. It was clear that no preparatory work was done (including not even having read my resume ahead of time). Incredibly unprofessional. The questions were comical and were indicative of someone who knew virtually nothing about the marketing profession. The craziest part of the entire process was that it took the TWO MONTHS to conduct two rounds of interviewing. Clearly not a well-organized culture.

Interview
Unique. Website asked for a video audition and then the first interview was with the co-founder/owner. Did not receive a call back, was told they hired someone with "more soft skills" when I asked. Virtual interviews are not a good place to find out if someone possesses soft skills. Wasn't the right fit anyway, but that's a red flag.
