I applied for System Administrator role during Feb 2024 and got a call for an in person HR interview during Mid April 2024. The first round was with HR with some basic questions about my background and skills. The following week I was called for In-person final interview with the President of the company. Then later a week, I got the offer. It stated that I'll be doing technical stuff involving Netsuite, SQL, and a few project management based tasks. Once I started working, they piled me up with tasks involving JavaScript, XML, etc., which I do not have experience and knowledge, yet I accomplised it with a short span of time. I started work and within 10 days I got fired. The reason that they told me is that they need someone who is very much experienced. My question is why would you hire a graduate student knowing that she doesn't have relevant experience and offering a position named, " Systems Developer - I" which is explicitly an entry level position. Next, when you have a small tech team, why not involve them in interviews, so that the requirements that the candidate should possess may be clearing communicated. Lack of management, improper communication are the main reasons for this kind of recruitment. My suggestion to the management is: Be sure on who you want and what skills and experience you want him?
