Question 1
One of the things I had to do was been able to teach about something not related to aviation and it was something interesting and at the same time chalanging to do.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hillsboro Aero Academy (Las Vegas, NV) in July 2018
Interview
I first interviewed real quick with the site chief pilot as I was being recommended by another instructor. From there, I got a date set with the new hire recruiter after a brief phone conversation with her. The initial phone conversation made me feel incredibly comfortable and by the time my 1 on 1 (skype) interview took place, I felt at ease; as though my recruiter wanted me to get the job.
The interview lasted about 30-40 minutes and was very straight forward with no hidden agendas or trick questions, and it took until the next business day to find out if I was hired or not. All in all, this was a very positive experience and the recruiter was really a bonus to that.

Interview
The interview process was smooth and speedy. It only took 1 day from application being sent for them to contact me. The interview itself was really smooth as well. Interviewer made me feel at home and confident. Simple HR questions followed by more in depth aviation questions.
