Hire Digital interview questions

I had an online call with one of their project managers, Tushar. The interview process was fairly straightforward. During the interview, I asked for specific dates on when he'd get back to me regarding the role—and I was given the reply that he'd let me know by a certain date on his decision (on whether I was chosen or not), and that I could email him to follow up for a reply if he hadn't responded by that time. I waited until past that date, and followed up twice, and he never responded. This is unprofessional, and poor practice for a company that works specifically with freelancers.
