I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hitachi Vantara (Chen) in Sept 2016
Interview
Online aptitude test containing general quantitative and verbal questions along with a lot of questions from Cloud Computing and Java.
Technical Round: Mostly Data Structures and Algorithms, OOPS concepts.
HR Round: Didn't quallify.
The interview was a horrible experience. I was the last candidate to be interviewed and waited the entire day for the same. The interviewer was juggling b/w two rooms and making the candidates wait for what seemed like ages. I was asked just one question and answered it as the very first example from the book "Head First into Design Patterns". According to me it was excellent, but i was let go immediately after.

Explain all OOPs concept through a single example.
Pretty basic process.
They just did a couple of questions along 3 interviews.
One with a talent recruiter.
Another more technical.
A last one that was behavioral.
The process took around 1 week.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hitachi Vantara (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2023
Interview
The case study was challenging but fair. Lots of good questions but straightforward. Good rapport with everyone in the room which was nice to see compared to others. I would recommend.
A Phone screening by the recruiter followed by three to five video interviews with prospective bosses and teammates. The level of seniority in interviewers progressed as the interviews went on. Finally, I had a call with the recruiter telling me the results. The team enjoyed, but the company recently went on a hiring freeze.
