Total lack of professionalism.
Initial screening on Hacker Rank followed by couple of telephonic technical rounds. Finally director round and salary discussion with HR.
All the interview invites said 'Lead QA' but they mention 'Senior QA' on offer letter. No interviewer turns on the camera during the interview. Easy interview - no thought provoking questions. Only text book questions were asked. They called on cellphone while I'm waiting on given teams link. Too much back and forth for salary negotiation. I accepted the offer since recruiter asked me to do it right away. But I declined after a week based on the feedback from couple of current manager level employers.
So, the director calls me at 9.30pm and shouts at the top of his voice stating that I'm not ethical, not professional etc, for declining the offer after accepting. I asked - Why did you even interview a candidate who has an offer? It is ok if I decline other offer, but not Hitachi's offer? Please read glassdoor reviews about Hitachi, which totally mimics such management behavior. He cuts the call.
