A friend recommended the position to me and I submitted my work for review. The whole process took a couple of months from start to finish. I submitted my work and was contacted back through email and phone. An interview and test was setup where I had an entire work day to prove I had the skills they were looking for. They had more than one animator apply for the job so I had to wait while the others applied and went through the same test process. This took a week or two. After that I was called in for a second interview where I did some more drawing tests and answered some more questions. On the website this was listed as a salary position. I was contacted back and offered the position but with an hourly rate. My friend who recommended me was working the exact same job as salary so this struck me as deceitful. I took a day or two to think it over and in the end I accepted.
