I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hold It Contemporary Home (San Diego, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
The owner talked about his store, his future store, the superiority of the brands his store sold, the affluence of his store's customers, the inferiority of other retail furniture stores and their products. He also outlined the commission structure. Commissions are only paid after a minimum sales amount is met. After that, it's a small % of the sales amount minus any hourly pay the employee received in the month.
