I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hollister Co. in May 2011
Interview
I walked into the store and asked one of the sales associates if the store was hiring. He told me that I can apply on the computer they had set up at the store. The application was fairly simple: I had to provide information on educational level, 3 previous jobs, availability, etc. Once the application was completed, I was able to choose the day when I wanted to be interviewed. I choose Friday.
On Friday I was 30 minutes early and was asked to come back in 15 minutes. I chose to stay in the store and sit on the comfy couches. About 7 people showed up. The interviewers (there were 2) were about 25 minutes late. We followed them to the mall's cafeteria and was told that the interview consisted of 4 questions. Afterwards, they said that they will be making calls the following week.
