I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Home Depot Canada (Winnipeg, MB) in Mar 2017
Interview
At a job fair, there were several staffs interviewing candidates for each stage of the process. My experience of the interview process was as follows:
1: receiving resumes and identifying which department I'm interested in.
2: having a personal interview with interviewer who is knowledgable for such department.
3: speaking with someone a bit more privately, but I don't remember what the questions were about.
4: speaking with general manager, briefly discussing with my plans, and getting an offer.
I had several days to think about it and get back to them.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Home Depot Canada (Scarborough, ON) in Apr 2026
Interview
The interviewer seemed to rely heavily on a script, checking off questions with little engagement. There were also some communication difficulties in English, which made the interview process harder to follow.
