Bizarre interview process. No questions about my nursing skills or background or my experience with death and dying. It was if they were asking questions from a script someone had written for them. I left after the 3rd round feeling I knew nothing about Hospice Austin, and they knew nothing about me. I asked specific questions and received vague answers. I asked "How many miles do you drive a day?" and the answer was "Quite a few". I asked "How many home visits do you make a day?", and the answer was "As many as I need to". One interviewer was uncertain what job I was applying for, another was unable to tell me anything about benefits. One interviewer told me I would be doing IV's, catheters, and trach care. At the next round, I was told it was mostly assessment skills. I didn't get an offer, and I think it was probably for the best.
