Question 1
How long have I been in customer service positions?
I applied online. I interviewed at Housecall Pro (Denver, CO) in Aug 2025
Interview
Interviewed twice for an Account Management role at Housecall Pro and wanted to share my experience so other candidates can make an informed decision.
The recruiter was professional, timely, and transparent throughout the process. No complaints there. Communication on her end was strong.
However, the broader hiring process itself felt disorganized and uncertain.
The same role was opened, paused, and reposted multiple times. Start dates were unclear when asked directly. KPIs, metrics, and success expectations were never clearly defined. Interviews felt more exploratory than tied to an actual, ready-to-hire position.
Both times I went through the process, hiring was ultimately paused for “business reasons” after multiple rounds. That suggests the role may not have been fully approved or funded before candidates’ time was invested.
My takeaway: it did not feel like a team that had a concrete plan, budget, or operational clarity for the position. Candidates looking for stability or a well-defined function may want to ask very direct questions upfront about timelines, headcount approval, and performance metrics.
Just sharing so others don’t spend weeks in process for something that may not actually be ready to hire.

Question 1
Why are you interested in working at Housecall Pro?
Thank you for recognizing our recruiter's communication throughout the process. We hear the frustration around timeline clarity and role definition, that feedback is worth taking seriously. Candidates deserve a clear picture of where a role stands before investing multiple rounds, and we will use this to raise our standard there. We appreciate your time and interest in working with us and do wish you the best.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Housecall Pro (Denver, CO) in Dec 2021
Interview
I applied for the position and 3 days later a recruiter reached out to me. We did a phone interview and then a panel interview on Zoom the next day. I got a call from the recruiter a couple of hours after that interview, and she let me know that I got the offer. Overall the process was really quick and I enjoyed all of the folks I spoke to along the way! Excited to start at Housecall Pros.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Housecall Pro (Joplin, MO) in Dec 2021
Interview
When I interviewed with Housecall Pro I was really impressed with how at ease I felt with everyone that interviewed me. They make you feel welcomed and their questions were very well directed; allowing me to remember and share customer service experiences Ive had. Each person took the time to listen to what I was saying; I know this because in their response they would refer to something I had said. I also found Housecall Pros staff to be diligent in communication. I was responded to within twenty-four hours, sometimes less! I was very impressed by the members at Housecall pro and really appreciate their time and consideration.
